Ann Begley

by

The household of Ann Begley was configured on the Albany census for 1800 in the first ward. It showed a woman between 26 and 45, three children, and a free person at the location near where the holdings of Michael Begley were assessed the year before.

She would have been born about 1753. We seek information regarding her origins and path to Albany. "Begley" was her married name.

Ann Begley, the spouse of Michael, was buried in Rensselaer County on December 11, 1827 at the age of seventy-four.

This sketchy outline begins to organize the life of a one-time resident.
