Alida Beekman Holland

Alida Beekman was born in 1702. She was the daughter of Albany residents Johannes and his second wife, Eva Vinhagen Beekman. She grew up in a large Albany family with a dozen surviving siblings.

In 1728, she married Albany trader and future sheriff Henry Holland, Jr. Their only child was baptized in the Albany Dutch church in 1736.

In December 1728, she was mentioned in her father's will. Alida Beekman Holland died after 1736 but was not mentioned in the will of her husband filed in 1777.
